Ceviche of Amazon Pintado à la Brazilian

Amazon Pintado Fillet Portion

Ingredients
  • 1 package of skin off Amazon Pintado Fillet Portion Nativ (420 g)
  • ½ teacup of lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1 peeled and seeded tomato cut in cubes
  • 1 teacup of coconut milk
  • 1 fresh peter pepper (Chinese red capsicum) well minced
  • ½ small onion chopped in small pieces
  • 1 garlic clove chopped in small pieces
Preparation

    By using a very sharp knife, cut the pieces of Amazon Pintado fillets, still frozen, in slim slices and place them in a glass bowl. Add the lime juice, salt and pepper to taste, mixing them gently. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Aside, mix the tomato, coconut milk, peter pepper, onion, and garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Remove the Pintado slices from the marinade and arrange them in a bowl. Serve by dipping the pieces of fish in the sauce.
